            The mirror image was used again here to create this composition and though the composition is divided into three parts, the painting is on a single piece of Bainbridge illustration board.  It is primarily watercolor with Prismacolor pencils used for highlighting and modeling.  A kind of nature spirit emerged as the painting developed and I had a sense of looking out from the inside on  several levels.  Looking out from in from an actual physical space of indoors to outdoors and perhaps a looking inward and outward from the self to the spiritual nature of all of that which surrounds us.
